Balance is a guaranteed issue product to complement your client’s medical plan. Balance is an association based membership that provides coverage, service and discounts which include: Critical illness, medical expenses, hospital confinement, and disability income due to accidents, and more. The Interim (Short-term) medical plans designed to help consumers between open enrollment periods get coverage with two series – Interim Coverage and Interim Coverage 2.0. Coverage offered depends on the residing state of the consumer, but benefits are identical. Note: Interim coverage does not prevent the tax penalty from being planced for the year 2016 for lack of insurance. It does not meet the ACA specifications but rather is like an emergency coverage in between full medical coverage.
