Originally licensed to sell life and health insurance in 1971, we integrated property and casualty insurance in 1985. Since then, we’ve been serving the Asian and Latino community. Today L.A. Broker, Inc. writes with several carriers rated “Excellent” by A.M. Best. Our reputation has been built upon our ability to focus on serving our clients.
We currently service clients in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada and Washington state.

Aurelio "Leo" Alcantara
Mr. Alcantara began his insurance career in 1971 selling Life products with Sun Life, a leading international financial services company established in 1865. In 1985, Mr. Alcantara decided to expand the products he offered by becoming licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance and inspired by the reputation built by Allstate Insurance Co. in the personal lines market, Mr. Alcantara decided to become an exclusive agent for the company in 1997. With great interest in continuing to expand his client reach, Mr. Alcantara opened his own Broker agency in 2004. This new opportunity allowed him to offer a greater variety of companies, allowing for a more competitive rate and greater savings to the clients.
